FAQ

Answers about downloading public media with GrablyMedia.

What does GrablyMedia download?

GrablyMedia analyzes publicly accessible media URLs on supported platforms and lists available formats. You choose a format and download it when a public source is available.

Do you re-encode every file?

No. We prefer original or best-available sources whenever the platform exposes them. Conversion is only shown when the backend reports a converted format.

Can I download private posts?

No. Private, login-walled, or restricted media is not supported. Only public media URLs can be analyzed.

Which platforms are supported?

Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, Pinterest, Threads, X (Twitter), and Dailymotion are first-class targets. Availability still depends on each URL being public and reachable.

Is GrablyMedia free to use?

The core analyze-and-download flow is designed for straightforward personal use of public media. Rate limits may apply to keep the service reliable for everyone.

What if analysis fails?

You will see a clear error — for example unsupported source, unavailable media, or a private link. Fix the URL or try another public link; there is no need to refresh endlessly.

How do I report copyright infringement?

Email copyright@grablymedia.com with the URL involved, your contact details, and a description of the claimed work. We review valid notices promptly.

How do I report abuse?

Contact abuse@grablymedia.com with relevant links and context. Malicious use of the service is not allowed.
