How to download Instagram Reels
Copy a public Instagram Reel URL, paste it into GrablyMedia, click Analyze, then choose an available format to download. Only public reels that load without logging in are supported.

Before you start
GrablyMedia works with public Instagram content only. Open the reel in a private browser window or while logged out — if it does not load, our analyzer cannot access it either.
You should only download reels you have permission to save. Respect copyright, creator rights, and Instagram’s terms of use.
Step 1 — Copy the reel link
On mobile, tap Share → Copy link on the reel. On desktop, open the reel and copy the URL from your browser’s address bar. Links look like instagram.com/reel/… or instagram.com/p/… for some video posts.
Step 2 — Paste and analyze
Open the GrablyMedia Instagram Reels downloader or the main homepage downloader. Paste the URL and click Analyze. GrablyMedia inspects the link and lists formats returned by our resolver — resolution, container, and size when available.
Step 3 — Choose a format and download
Pick the format that fits your needs. GrablyMedia prefers original or best-available sources over re-encoded files. Your browser handles the download through our same-origin proxy when required.
- Carousel reels are not reels — use the main Instagram downloader for multi-image posts.
- Private accounts are not supported. Public stories work when Instagram exposes a source — they expire after 24 hours.
- If analysis fails, try another public reel or check that the link is complete.
